"I don’t pretend to know what love is for everyone, but I can tell you what it is for me; love is knowing all about someone, and still wanting to be with them more than any other person, love is trusting them enough to tell them everything about yourself, including the things you might be ashamed of, love is feeling comfortable and safe with someone, but still getting weak knees when they walk into a room and smile at you." — Author Unknown

 hope your day is great!

snow snow snow

as you probably know it snowed
again

i actually got out and enjoyed it at midnight
i was really hoping for a snow day or else i would have totally been in bed

with some help from a make shift sled

and a huge hill
it was a blast!

life

i visited one of my best friends this weekend
it was literally one of the best weekends i have had all year
we hung out, eaves dropped on her little brother, worked out, ate lots, got mani and pedi's, watched movies and laughed a whole whole lot.
it was perfect.

we got on the topic of life after college
she is in nursing school and living with her parents after graduating from auburn
we were talking about the transition into the real world and how we were feeling

and let me just tell you we both came to the conclusion it is hard
everything about it is hard
i wish that someone would have told me how it was going to be
but no one did
and who really knows if i would have listened if someone would have given me this insight.

but the past six months has been hard
really hard on me
its been hard on every single relationship i have
its been hard to make new friends in a new city
its been hard adjusting to working 8 to 5
its been hard learning how to adjust to being by yourself a lot
and its just been really weird

i wish i could tell you that it has gotten easier
but it has not
some days are easier than others
but the hard days definitely out number the good days
all i can say is that i am striving for the good days
and i hope contentment comes sooner

allie, my friend i visited, mentioned that she felt the exact same way
and i was shocked that i was not the only weirdo going through this
its very comforting to know that i am not the only one struggling with life after college
and the transition.

if you are still in college, let this be your warning that 'life' iscoming and
if you are out of college and have already dealt with it... did you deal with the loneliness after college and the unknow and the questioning of EVERYTHIHG?

because i am going to be real with you
the real life is intense.
its hard.
and scary.
